Training Speaker Volunteer
Traditional MN Family Investment Program (MFIP) employment services are provided including job search, case management, skills training, job club and job retention. Lifetrack Resources additionally offers an on-site job search center and job fairs with local employers.
Volunteer responsibilities will consist of:
- Speaking at client training that occur twice per week on topics such as resume writing, internet job search strategies, how to utilize temp services, and mock interviews to help individuals moving from welfare to work.
Requirements:
- Trainings are held twice per week for one hour.
- Expertise in areas of job search or job training or general life skills that would be of help to job seeking clients a must.
- Previous interviewing skills preferred.
