MN Hands & Voices is a state chapter of a national parent-to-parent support organization for families with children who are deaf and hard of hearing.
Volunteer responsibilities will consist of the distribution of a statewide, well-respected newsletter for families with children who are deaf and hard of hearing.
1. Make copies of program newsletter
2. Fold, staple and fix mailing labels to newsletter.
3. Use mail machine to stamp postage on newsletter.
There are many rewards to volunteering with MN Hands & Voices:
1. Recognition in Lifetrack Resources' Annual Report.
2. Certificate of attendance as confirmation of volunteer hours.
3. Working with fun and dedicated team members.
4. Knowing you were responsible for bringing much needed information to families with children who have hearing loss!
Requirements:
- Time commitment of a four hour day, once a month.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to volunteer during times set by the program manager.
- Attention to detail a great organizational skills a must!
- Ability to be self directed and motivated.
