Lifetrack Resources helps people with disabilities eliminate barriers to gainful employment by providing on-the-job training and support after employment as well as help in maintaining and advancing in employment.
- Train clients of the Vocational Rehabilitation program on appropriate job search behavior.
- Teach clients the importance of proper dress, hygiene, phone etiquette, e-mail etiquette and follow-up conversations with employers, when searching and interviewing for a job.
- Assist clients in learning all aspects of the work place and the skills necessary to meet the standards of industry.
- Assist with creating / updating client resumes and cover letters.
Requirements:
- This volunteer opportunity has a time commitment of every Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Previous teaching and speaking skills a plus.
- Experience in resume and cover letter writing, as well as great computer skills.
