Specialized MFIP Job Retention and Transitional Work services are provided in both Ramsey and Hennepin Counties. In addition, Lifetrack Resources offers an on-site job search center and job fairs with local employers.
Volunteer responsibities will include:
- Assisting clients by providing mock interviews as well as help with constructing resumes and cover letters.
- Speak at classes provided to clients about the working world with an emphasis on hiring.
Requirements:
Classes are held every Friday. Interested volunteers will be called upon on an as-needed basis.
- Prior experience in conducting interviews a plus.
- Knowledge of resume and cover letter writing a plus.
- Prefered business people that would be willing to talk about the hiring processes of their company to class participants.
