A Rural Community's Response to its Changing Demography: Welcome to Worthington
This study is a companion study to: An Evaluation of Lifetrack Services to Karen in a Second Wave of Migration to Worthington, Minnesota: Nine Rays of Light Reach the Star of the North. 'Welcome to Worthington' evaluates the new communitys' capacity to provide a welcoming environment for refugees. The purpose of this study is to determine key factors in communities that lead to resettlement success.

United Way: Parent Education Initiative
Lifetrack Resources was one of the 14 Greater Twin Cities United Way funded parent education programs in 2009 to serve low-income and/or culturally diverse parents and their families in order to increase the number of children who are ready to enter kindergarten. This report documents progress on program implementation and participation during the first year of the two-year Parent Education Initiative. Participant-level outcomes will be reported in the final report in February 2011.

Minnesota Family Investment Program and Children’s Mental Health Pilot Evaluation
The Minnesota State Legislature appropriated funds to implement children’s mental health screening programs for children in families served by the Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) at two pilot sites. The aim of this appropriation was to identify and address the mental health needs of children in MFIP families and modify MFIP Employment Plans to include children’s mental health activities. Screening children and referring the children to services if indicated was hypothesized to improve the parent’s getting or keeping a job.
