CAREERThe CAREER Program (Coalition Assisting Refugee Early Employment and Retention) works with immigrants and refugees with legal authorization to work in the United States, in order to promote their adjustment to the American workplace through workforce development, placement in employment, and follow-up retention services. Our customers receive one on one employment counseling and may qualify for paid work experience at Packaging First. The CAREER program ensures access to services for clients whose English-speaking ability is limited. The CAREER program receives funding in part from the Minnesota Departments of Human Services and Employment and Economic Development, the McKnight Foundation, and the Twin Cities United Way.
