Beginnings
In-Home Therapy

At Beginnings In-Home Therapy, we believe the parent-child relationship is paramount for children birth to age three. We strive to be a caring partner to help parents meet the needs of their struggling child. Our therapy is:

  • Relationship Based
  • Strength Based
  • Culturally Sensitive
  • Developmentally Appropriate

As well as providing parent support, Beginnings uses hands on activities in the home and community to enrich family relationships and improve functioning. Other services include:

  • Resources and Referral
  • Assessments and Diagnosis
  • Individual Treatment Plans

Eligibility: The family must live in Ramsey County and have a child birth up to age four with a mental health diagnosis or significant symptoms of mental health issues. Beginnings In-Home Therapy is designed for children birth to age three experiencing problems in the following areas:

  • Attachment
  • Anxiety and Adjustment
  • Eating and Sleeping
  • Interaction
  • Relating and Communications
  • Aggression and Anger
  • Depression
  • Emotional and Physiological Regulation
