      Lifetrack Resources offers a limited number of internships to advance both undergraduate and graduate students within the array of disciplines and academic field represented within Lifetrack’s program and organizational operations. Most internships at Lifetrack Resources are unpaid, and applicants are responsible for working with their academic institution to determine requirements and eligibility for academic credit.

      Communications and Marketing Assistant

      Summary: Activities may include writing, editing, web and e-communications, media and public relations, events, volunteer relations and business-to-business and program marketing and promotions.

      Qualifications: Experience or coursework in marketing, communications, journalism, or other related area. Ability to use a computer, attention to details, interest in communications, marketing or public relations.

      Events Assistant

      Summary: Assist Lifetrack Resources in planning and hosting fundraising events and gatherings for our donors, clients, volunteers and community partners. Donation solicitations, data entry, filing, attending meetings and other activities related to our July fundraiser, Taste of Lifetrack Resources. Planning and assisting with a large picnic with activities for deaf and hard of hearing children and their families in August.

      Qualifications: Excellent telephone, organizational and computer skills; interest in learning about fund development.

      Applying for an Internship

      To be considered for an internship opportunity with Lifetrack Resources, applicants are asked to submit the following to Lifetrack Resources Human Resources:

      1. Complete internship/volunteer application
      2. A resume including work and academic background
      3. A brief description of your interests and learning objectives for your internship experience
      4. Faculty advisory name and contact information

      Internship applications are considered by the appropriate department / program staff. Applicants are encouraged to allow for adequate time for review and consideration in submission of their application.

      Internships can be arranged in the departments and programs listed below:

      Child and Adult Therapies: Occupational, Physical, Speech and Mental Health, Health Admissions and Administration

      Early Childhood and Family Services:
      Preschool, early childhood development, parenting and related services

      Employment Services:
      Welfare to work, Immigrant and Refugee services and customized training

      Vocational Rehabilitation:
      Employment services for people with physical and mental health disabilities

      Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing


      Finance and Administration:
      Accounting, nonprofit administration

      Information Management and Technology

      Human Resources


      Packaging First:
      Business management, operations, manufacturing and sales

      Marketing and Communications:
      Public relations, events, publications, e-communications

      Facilities and Operations:
      Equipment and facilities management and maintenance

      Development and Fundraising:
      Grant writing, donor relations and campaign development

      Research and Evaluation
